About Sharmar Village

Sharmar Village is a local and family-owned senior care community made up of a team of passionate and skilled caregivers in Pueblo, Colorado.

Within the historic Aberdeen Neighborhood is our beautiful campus providing long-term care, memory care, assisted living, independent living and rehabilitation services.

Our History

Built On A Solid Foundation For The Future

Sharmar Village Care Center and the Chateau at Sharmar Village are located in the historic Aberdeen area of Pueblo and has been operated by the same private owner, Steve Briscoe, since 1995.

Making A Meaningful Name

Sharmar Village is one of four Colorado-based senior care communities owned by the Briscoe family and is the only one operating under the unique name of Sharmar Village.

Steve Briscoe had done business all over Colorado and over the years developed a relationship with the original owner of Sharmar Care Center – named after the original owners family memebers, Sharon and Mary. When Steve had the opportunity to continue the operation of Sharmar, he kept the orignal name to honor the legacy of care given to the Pueblo community. The Briscoe family is only the second owner and is honored to serve Pueblo as Sharmar Village has grown over the years.

Bringing Life To The Three C’s: Community, Connectedness, Care

Since opening our doors, the Sharmar Village campus has been expanded over the years to include independent living and assisted living at The Chateau, offering a full continuum of care services to current and future generations of Pueblo residents. From day one, we sought to offer versatile and interchangeable levels of care for thousands of individuals and their families and loved ones across the broad spectrum of life.
