At Sharmar Village, we are a community. From our residents to our staff, we understand that everyone has a unique story to tell. We sat down with Sarah, our Ward Clerk, to learn a little bit more about why she is passionate about providing care and why she loves Sharmar Village.
What is your favorite part about working at Sharmar Village?
I love working at Sharmar Village because I love having interaction with the residents and their families. We all have our independence in life, and none of us think about losing it. When we do, it’s hard. Working here, I am able to give something back. I can be apart of the good times and the bad times to help create memories and meaningful life.
Why are you passionate about providing care?
For the love of God, and our mission is to serve others. You need to give something back in life, and it’s easy to help others.
What is your favorite memory at Sharmar Village?
There are so many memorable moments, it’s hard to just say one. I have been here for a while and I have seen so much laughter between residents and families as well as so many tears. I am able to share compassion and support to the residents and their families at various times. They appreciate it, and I am grateful that I can provide that.
