When a rehab patient comes to Sharmar Village a dedicated member of Summit Medical Consultants will follow their care to provide consistent, coordinated and person-centered care. Once the patient is discharged from rehab, they are then released back to their primary care physician when they discharge. These physicians round out the Sharmar Village rehab team and offer on-call service 24×7.
Dr. Stan Wilbur
Dr. Wilbur graduated from UCLA with a Ph.D. in 1983 and an M.D. in 1990. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Olive View/UCLA Medical Center in 1993 and for over 20 years he practiced primary care Internal Medicine in San Diego, California. In this capacity, sub-acute, skilled nursing and custodial care were an integral part of his practice. Upon relocating to Colorado, he joined Summit Medical Consultants to continue a practice focus in post-acute and long-term care. He and his wife share five children and two grandchildren. He is an award winning home brewer, and is an avid skier in the winter, and backpacker, hiker and motorcyclist in the summer.
Dr. Rajendra Kadari
Rajendra Kadari, MD, recognizing the need for quality post acute care during his tenure as Chief Hospitalist established Summit Medical Consultants in 2015. Summit Medical Consultants has quickly grown to a 32-provider practice caring for patients in the Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care environment across the Denver metro area. He completed his Residency Program at East Tennessee State University in 2010 and brings with him extensive experience caring for acutely ill patients as Chief Internal Medicine Physician at OrthoColorado Hospital. Dr. Kadari and his wife are the proud parents of two rambunctious little boys. He enjoys playing cricket, biking, hiking, watching movies and spending time with his family in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Dr. Julie Yoshimura
Julie Yoshimura, MS, AGPCNP is originally from Iowa and began her medical career as a Nurse’s Aide then a medical assistant . She received her degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and master’s degree in science from the University of Colorado. Julie has over 20 years of diversified healthcare experience in hospital environments, sub-acute and long-term care. She believes elderly people have unique needs as the aging body is physiologically different from the younger body and our elders deserve specialized care. Julie is Certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is married with 2 children and 2 dogs. Julie enjoys reading, skiing, fly-fishing and floating rivers.
